Makaton Training

Makaton is a language programme containing signs and symbols. It is used to support children and adults with communication difficulties. Makaton is used extensively in the UK and in sixty other countries.

Makaton training is provided by an experienced Speech/Language Therapist and Makaton Regional Tutor.
We can provide a range of training options to meet your individual needs, including:

An introduction to Makaton signs and symbols.
Parents and Carers workshop.
Foundation level training.

As this training is provided independently, we can be flexible about how the training is delivered.
